Driveways 4 You transformed an old paved patio in Stone Abbey, Dublin 16, creating a bright, clean resin patio with a clearly defined silver granite border around the lawn.
Project Overview
Driveways 4 You recently completed the transformation of an existing paved patio at a residential property in Stone Abbey, Dublin 16.
The existing patio had become discoloured and lacked a clearly defined edge where the paved area met the lawn. The new patio was designed to create a cleaner, more attractive outdoor space while giving the lawn a clear and defined border.
Existing Patio
The original patio consisted of large paved slabs with a circular feature through the centre of the area. Over time, the paving had become discoloured and weathered, giving the patio a dated appearance.
The edge between the patio and lawn was also not clearly defined, making the outdoor area appear less structured. The new resin patio and granite border provided an opportunity to create a much cleaner and more defined finish.
Resin Patio Installation
The new resin surface was installed to create a fresh and attractive finish across the patio area. The installation photo shows the resin being laid as the new surface was formed across the existing area.
The resin finish provides a consistent appearance across the patio while creating a clean transition between the different areas of the garden.
Silver Granite Patio Border
A key feature of the completed patio is the silver granite border surrounding the resin surface. The granite blocks create a clearly defined edge between the patio and the lawn, giving the outdoor space a more structured and finished appearance.
The light silver granite works particularly well with the resin finish, creating an attractive contrast while neatly framing the patio area.
Completed Resin Patio – Same Angle
The completed patio looks completely different from the original paved area. The old discoloured paving has been replaced with a bright, consistent resin finish, creating a cleaner and more contemporary outdoor space.
The silver granite border also gives the patio a clearly defined edge, neatly separating the resin surface from the surrounding lawn.
Finished Resin Patio
The finished resin patio provides a bright and attractive surface that complements the surrounding garden and creates a much cleaner overall appearance.
The silver granite edging follows the shape of the lawn and continues around the adjoining pathway, helping to tie the different areas of the garden together.
Completed Resin Patio in Stone Abbey Dublin 16
The transformation has completely changed the appearance of this outdoor space in Stone Abbey, Dublin 16. The old discoloured paved patio has been replaced with a bright resin finish and a smart silver granite border.
The new border creates a strong definition between the patio and lawn, while the consistent resin surface gives the area a clean and contemporary appearance.
This Stone Abbey project showcases how a professionally installed resin patio can transform an existing outdoor area and create an attractive, clearly defined space for the property.
