Project Overview
Driveways 4 You recently completed the transformation of a residential driveway in Parklands, Dublin 24, creating a clean and contemporary entrance that complements the property's beautiful cream-framed windows and stunning garden light feature.
The existing tarmac driveway and colour block frame were completely removed before the ground was carefully prepared. Correct levels were established to provide effective drainage and an even surface for the new driveway installation.
Ground Preparation and Drainage
A key part of this driveway installation was removing the existing tarmac and preparing the ground correctly before the new surface was installed. The correct levels were established to provide effective drainage while creating an even surface across the driveway.
Careful ground preparation provided the necessary foundation for the new driveway and ensured that the different elements of the installation could be accurately positioned and finished.
High-Quality Granite Block Framing
High-quality granite blocks were installed to create a clean and defined frame around the new driveway. The granite edging was carefully installed to respect and work alongside the existing raised blocks already in place for the garden planting areas.
This created clean lines around the driveway while allowing the existing garden features to remain an important part of the overall design.
Natural Granite Step Installation
A high-quality natural granite step was installed as part of the project, providing a practical and attractive entrance feature that complements the granite framing around the driveway.
High-Quality SMA Tarmac Base
Following the ground preparation and granite edging work, a high-quality SMA tarmac surface was installed to provide an even and stable base for the resin driveway.
The carefully prepared SMA tarmac provided the smooth and even surface required before the resin finish was applied, helping to achieve the clean lines and high-quality finish of the completed driveway.
Resin Driveway Finish
The final resin driveway was installed to complement the appearance of the property, working particularly well with the home's beautiful cream-framed windows and the stunning garden light feature.
The resin finish creates a clean and contemporary appearance while allowing the granite edging, natural granite step and existing garden features to remain prominent parts of the overall design.
