Driveways 4 You replaced a cracked and dated pavement driveway in Templeroan with a professionally installed resin-bound driveway, framed with silver granite detailing and finished with a new granite step.
Resin Driveway Installation in Templeroan
Driveways 4 You completed this resin driveway installation in Templeroan in June 2026, transforming the entrance to the property with a clean, contemporary resin-bound surface.
The existing pavement had become cracked and the surrounding levels required careful attention. The area was completely prepared before the new driveway was installed, with the ground levelled correctly and suitable preparation carried out to provide effective drainage and a stable foundation for the finished surface.
Complete Ground Preparation
Proper preparation is an important part of installing a durable resin-bound driveway. The existing surface was removed and the ground was fully prepared, with levels carefully adjusted to create the correct falls and provide suitable drainage.
The preparation also ensured that the finished resin driveway would meet the surrounding features at the correct height, providing a neat and consistent transition around the entrance and garden area.
Silver Granite Driveway Border and Garden Framing
The garden area was framed using silver granite risers, creating a clearly defined edge between the new driveway and the garden. A silver granite block border was also incorporated into the design, adding a strong visual finish around the resin driveway.
The granite detailing provides a durable edge to the driveway while complementing the finished resin surface and giving the entrance a more structured appearance.
Silver Granite Step
A silver granite step was also installed as part of the project, providing a practical entrance feature and continuing the granite detailing used around the driveway.
The step was carefully incorporated into the surrounding levels to create a clean transition between the driveway and the entrance area.
Preparing the Base for the Resin-Bound Surface
Before the resin-bound surface was installed, a layer of tarmac was laid over the prepared area. This first layer was installed to bring the driveway up to the correct level against the framed silver granite border.
This careful attention to levels provided the appropriate base for the resin-bound surface and helped achieve a clean, even finish around the granite edging.
Correct Thickness Resin-Bound Finish
The final resin-bound surface was installed to the correct thickness over the prepared base, creating a smooth and durable finish across the driveway.
Resin-bound surfacing provides a clean, modern appearance while allowing the driveway design to incorporate contrasting features such as the silver granite borders and garden framing used on this project.
Completed Resin Driveway in Templeroan
The completed project has transformed the entrance to the property, replacing the cracked pavement with a professionally installed resin-bound driveway complemented by silver granite detailing and a new granite step.
From the initial ground preparation and drainage work through to the installation of the tarmac base and final resin-bound surface, each stage was completed by the experienced in-house team at Driveways 4 You.
This Templeroan project demonstrates how a carefully designed and professionally installed resin driveway can provide an attractive and practical finish while incorporating granite borders and landscaping features into the overall design.
