Driveways 4 You created a new porcelain patio and garden layout at Rathcurragh, Newbridge, Kildare, combining silver-grey porcelain paving with subtle white veining, natural granite edging, a porcelain slab pathway and new lawns on either side of the main path.
Project Overview
This garden project in Rathcurragh, Newbridge, Kildare was designed around our customer's requirements, bringing together a main patio, a connecting pathway, lawn areas and space for planting.
The layout combines paved areas with softer garden features, giving each part of the outdoor space a clearly defined place within the overall design.
Ground Preparation and Levels
The garden levels were prepared to establish the correct fall for the new paving. This preparation was an important part of planning how rainwater would move across the finished surfaces.
The layout was set out in line with the customer's requirements before installation of the main patio and connecting pathway.
Silver-Grey Porcelain Patio
The main patio was installed using silver-grey porcelain paving with subtle white veining. The variation within the paving adds detail to the surface while maintaining a coordinated appearance across the patio.
The main paved area connects directly with the new porcelain pathway, carrying the same finish through the garden.
Natural Granite Edge Detailing
A natural granite riser was used to frame the edge of the porcelain paving, creating a defined finish around the main patio.
The granite detailing complements the silver-grey porcelain and provides a clear boundary between the paved area and the adjoining garden.
Porcelain Pathway and New Lawns
A porcelain slab pathway was installed leading away from the main patio, extending the paving design into the garden.
The pathway layout framed the adjoining lawn areas, with new lawn installed on either side of the main path. This arrangement connects the patio with the rest of the garden while balancing the paving with green space.
Space for Planting
An area was left for planting along the edge of the main patio, allowing plants to be incorporated alongside the new paving.
This planting space gives the customer scope to soften the patio edge and add colour as the garden develops.
Completed Porcelain Patio in Newbridge
The completed project brings together silver-grey porcelain paving, natural granite edge detailing, a connecting porcelain pathway and newly installed lawns.
From the prepared levels through to the paving layout and garden features, the installation was planned around the customer's requirements.
